Day 2, Another favorite:
STRANDED...MAROONED by ​Dr. Lindamichellebaron
STRANDED...MAROONED
An idea is bouncing
around in my head.
but I think the words
are lost, or dead
Snagged on a flying rug
lost over ancient Slam
stopped at a broken red light
stuck in an air-traffic jam
Are my words sidetracked
On the other side of the moon?
Are they sky-jacked.
or stranded somewhere marooned?
What can I do with
this great idea.
if the words I want
refuse to appear?
I can't even save it.
No words hold its place.
Where the idea is
will be an empty space.
Is that them "over the river"
trying to sneak past?
When they get through the woods"
I'm going to write them down
fast!!!
