Happy Father's Day!!!This is a short message from a woman who is the beneficiary of a father's love. Even when my mother divorced my father, she never said or did anything to disparage our father. She never denied us contact. She was not pleased with him, but she did not let her pain put a hole in our souls. I am blessed with memories and interactions of fatherlove. Let's make certain our children have the gift of an actively engaged, loving father. Being strong as a woman does not mean denying our children a relationship with their father. Please don't weaponize a father's love by keeping fathers out of our children's lives. Instead, encourage and support that love. Our children can't get enough love. Let's give the men in our lives some love, even if we are no longer romantically connected. keep whatever there was to love in our children's lives. And thank you fathers for being consistently there for your children, caring for them mind, body and spirit. Those of you who hold your children's mothers in high regard even though the two are no longer together and no longer in love. This message came to my spirit. Someone out there needs this message. So I prayerfully offer this thought. Love and more love on this Father's Day and beyond.
Love and realness,
