Day 7: IT HURTS

Sometimes their words
Smash my brain
Like rain beating cement,
And that's why I cry.

Even though I know
That only sticks and stones crack bones,
Sometimes their words smash rain
Through cracks to my brain,
And I can feel them all seep
deep inside
And it hurts.
That's why I cry.
