Day 10: Happy National Pet Day!!!
This week I will be resurrecting poems that are my favorite from my personal treasure trove of poems.
I was sitting in my backyard in front of my small pond years ago, and this poem popped into my head. I had forgotten about it until today. Actually, the only pet I have had since I was a child has been these fish. I share the poem with you today as we celebrate National Pet Day. In fact, I challenge all of you to create a poem asking your own silly questions.
Ask a Silly Question
by Dr. Lindamichellebaron
If a fish is red will its color rinse away to pink?
If fish are thirsty do they take a drink?
If they eat too much will they float or sink?
If air gets in their eyes do they blink?
If the water gets too warm will they shrink?
Should I add soap to the water so they don’t stink?
What do you think?
Hope you enjoyed Day 10. Would you like me to light a spark at your school, college, house-of-worship, conference or organization? If your answer is yes, please click on this link to book me: https://www.mylindamichellebaron.com/book-dr-lindamichelle.html
