Day 1: Poetry Is Me

A word is what I've lived, and changes as I live it. A word really only lives from the meanings that I give it.
A dictionary can't grab it and say "Now, this is it." " It gives a place for me to start. I add myself on my first visit.
With all the probabilities, I add the possibility that makes each word belong and bring meaning to me.
Even my own meanings change. Sometimes it changes in mid book. It sometimes changes in mid sentence, as I give my world another look.
A word is me.
It's what I feel and taste and touch and smell and see.
When all the words connect... just right that's poetry.
