Day 10: A Path To Math

A PATH TO MATH...PLEASE!
Math isn't easy.
I don't care what they say.
I'm going to close my eyes and subtract it away... Divide what's left.
Watch it disappear.
Sure hope this problem is divisible by fear.
A Path To Math is one of my favorite poems from my book,"The Sun is On." We have to stop saying and being proud of not being good in math. It's too easy to say,"I'm not good in math." Math is awesome. Educators must share the curiosity, the creativity and the problem based thinking of math. Remove the fear and add the joy of figuring it out. Learning doesn't have to be easy but our job is to make learning joyous! Embrace the challenge!
