 Dear Friends, Family and Fans,
I thank all of you for your overwhelming positive feedback for my updated website. I want you to know that the person who has consistently supported me by developing and maintaining all aspects of my social media presence, including enhancing and maintaining my current website, is Lady Charmaine Day. I met her when she was in the 5th grade. I found out several years ago that she had continued to follow me and revere me as a role model over several decades. What an honor. She believed that the brief interactions with me during her formative years was instrumental in her continued growth. As a result, she adopted me as her other mother and has continued to support me in multiple ways. The major focus has been enhancing my social media presence and website. I have witnessed and benefited from this talented, woman of God, who has overcome so many obstacles, She shared a powerful story, regarding her personal journey to find and hold on to her sanity during difficult times. She confided in me that she has bipolar, what it meant to have bipolar, and the deeply personal journey she took to achieve and sustain sanity. In fact, an important part of her journey is sharing her story with others who may or may not have suffered through mental illness. She has written several books, but her most recent is a narrative that authentically tells that story. It is called, “Do I Look Bipolar?” We need to know that mental health does not have a particular look. It can surreptitiously invade your life and that of others. Her book addresses that need.
